I now know at least 6 people including someone I work with who got banned for this exact reason even though they absolutely did not do what the automated systems are claiming. The appeals process had the same result for them and there is no clear route/method to try and even remotely figure out what's going on. I totally get this guys frustration. Short of legal action, I do not know what anyone can legitimately do to appeal an accusation that they are not being given any clarity about. I would say Google needs to sort this stuff out but like I'm pretty sure a ton of people already said that and it's clear the kafkaesque system has no reason to fix itself.
