- daxelrod 6y agoAnd you _can_ pay for the article in a way that causes the site to stop serving ads. The Verge is part of Scroll, which is one of the services where you pay a monthly subscription fee to not see ads on their member sites. Not shilling (I have no affiliation other than being a subscriber), just thought it was relevant to the larger conversation about paying for things and ads.
- loloquwowndueo 6y agoUse an ad blocker. I don’t feel bad about not giving money to what is essentially a rant about a crappy tv. My life wouldn’t have changed in any way if I hadn’t read it.
- nicbou 6y agoYou don't selectively refuse to give money though. You block everything by default and then rationalise that the content sucked.
