Funny enough, when the news of this limit was first announced, I gave it a month at most until this was bypassed[0] (similarly to how NVENC is limited to three (previously two) hardware encodes, but a driver patch removes that limit). Here we are 20 days later, and this article is released. The 'allegedly' can always end up being a gotcha, but again, I really wouldn't be surprised if this is the real deal.
