Thanks for posting the link to this podcast! I enjoyed listening to it. It seems the situation is not as bad as Google Earth would have you believe - stuff got torn down in a storm but they are planning to rebuild it. One thing that caught my ears was the short snippet when they talk about about how the men in the region are looking down upon farming... smells sort of like a "startup opportunity" to me.
