This was not a reddit-esque comment. But a real one that could actually be discussed like adults on HN. I believe my statement/comment.

- oh_sigh 6y agoYou expect adults to gather around and discuss your 3 word, massively generalized post? Ok.
- ProAm 6y agoHow many word would you like? I think you understood what my point was, as for it was clear and succinct. Did you want bullet points and references? America is currently largely a failed state (in terms of future global power), has the most funded military that cannot win wars but serves as a jobs program and as result is a large part of its own economy. A medical system that is expensive but cannot meet the needs of its people and also has a non-functioning government however it is a country with a lot economic inertia. This inertia will be a long slow deceleration that will lead it to fate similar of England.
- oh_sigh 6y ago> America is currently largely a failed state See, that is exactly what I was talking about when I said please don't turn reddit into HN (even considering your unfalsifiable parenthetical)
- ProAm 6y agoAs a discussion forum I think we can discuss anything as long as it meets the guidelines. [1] Sorry you have had a bad experience on Reddit but please do not bring that negativity here.
