Twitter has an option to just skip the algorithm and let you drink from the firehouse - switch to timeline view and put everyone you are following in “alarm” mode (otherwise, they’ll filter it as THEY see fit). Most of the people I care about post on both, and when there’s an important long form article they post a link to it (whether on Facebook or their private blog)
