Show HN: Open Source and Handheld Game with MakeCode Arcade, Mathtown Alley
- mimixco 6y agoOP here, first time making a full game from scratch. Used Microsoft MakeCode Arcade for this project, mostly built in the Blocks language as a challenge. Only had to dip into JS a few times to alter parm settings. The game is a math trainer that should run on all devices. Use the directional pad to arrange the animals to create a valid math expression. Press A to change animals and B to check the result. I'm most proud of the auto-solve feature (press Menu) that re-arranges the sprites graphically so that the math expression is correct. Feedback appreciated!
