Tbf, I think this is more the Mac's fault than Firefox's. I think cmd-q/cmd-w probably predate Firefox's use of them. > I will die on the hill that "confirm quit" is the correct behavior. Google Chrome has a weird 'solution': on cmd-q press it popups a temporary overlay which reads "Hold cmd-q to quit"
