German freemail sites trick users into removing AdBlock (2014)

The two services also (used to [1]) try to trick you into subscribing to their premium offerings by showing whole-page ads when you log in occasionally with a huge "Yes, I'd love a free trial" button and only a tiny "No, thank you" in the fine print. [1] This was many years ago, I have no idea if they still do it since I no longer use them.
