According to his CV, he did get tenure.
- Cyph0n 6y agoAt Georgia Tech, not at MIT. Still a great achievement though (go Jackets!). Edit: my bad, looks like he was an associate prof at MIT, which means he was indeed tenured before moving to Tech!

- tracyhenry 6y agoThere is a position at MIT called associate prof without tenure. So just because he was an associate prof doesn't necessarily mean he had tenure.
