First end-to-end side channel attack on Apple's new M1 processor

  Skimming the paper: It sounds like being vulnerable to this issue and having a performant CPU go hand and hand, but it's interesting to see AMD and Samsung have some resistance to this (although are still vulnerable, just less consistent). Mitigations for this issue would be around partitioning execution units and can be done in hardware or the OS.
