That's scary. I want Google Fiber (not available in my area), but I wouldn't want my utility (Google Fiber) account & cell phone (Google Fi) plan vulnerable to an e-mail account ban.
- bombcar 6y agoYou're not supposed to, but you get multiple gmail accounts for that - "service" accounts if you will. Then you never use your service account and it gets disabled by the inactive account filter. Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess.
- velosol 6y agoReading through the GFiber TOS it's not clear that you must use a Google account - they refer often to "the email address used to setup your account" but you can have a Google account with an email address not serviced at Google. So if you're willing to have multiple accounts it seems doable.
