Google's core product, search, has gotten so unreliable that I've already switched to using a mix of different engines. Google now seems to fixate on the most generic terms in my query, ignoring quotations and other keywords, and emphasizes commercial results rather than informational ones. In addition, I can no longer tell someone to just google "something" and expect them to see the same result set. What about other Google products? Well there's a good chance their next big thing will be discontinued within two or three years. I've lost faith in them completely.
