Sorry for the confusion. I used the wrong wording.
I am not a professional chess player by any means but have played against a lot of people over the years and never seen this move and that is what I wanted to convey with my title.
- isomorph 6y agoThat's interesting. What's your rating? I think I probably encounter it more in chess.com post-analysis of my games than in actual games. i.e. the computer says "you made X move, but you should have done Y!" where Y was capturing a pawn en passant.
- reimertz 6y agoYeah, I have honestly just played irl games so that is probably why. If I would guess, my rating is probably shit. :)
