What you are describing sounds like rejection sensitive dysphoria: https://www.additudemag.com/rejection-sensitive-dysphoria-and-adhd/ https://www.additudemag.com/rejection-sensitive-dysphoria-an... I struggle with it too and have not found a solution to it. There is a class of tasks which is really hard for me to get started on due to having failed at similar tasks in spectacular ways in the past.
