- hollerith 6y agoJapan, Germany, South Korea, Sweden, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, and Taiwan all could've had their own nuclear arsenals by now. The reason they do not is that the US undertook to protect them. Do you wish all those countries had nuclear arsenals? If so, I recommend that you read _Command and Control_ by Strasser: it is difficult the make sure the whatever nuclear policy is chosen by a government is actually followed.
