Watched Top Gun last night and was floored by this. Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis certainly were heartthrobs of the day, and not unattractive by any normal measure, but it was shocking how... “normal” they looked compared to today’s casts. Cruise with a unibrow and those teeth? Never. It’s tremendously sad how this frog in boiling water came to be.
