Scrum is a ridiculous waste of time today due to non-software savvy (as in aren't afraid of code) folks polluting project manager, product owner, product manager, and software manager positions. Tickets come flying in, blockers get turned into a mountain from a mole hill, planning meetings are multi-hour time wasters, retrospectives cover the same things, and everybody is just nice to each other rather than raising their concerns. Deadlines are a fallacy, other than giving substance to these ritual meetings. Kanban makes so much more sense. Allows estimation via cycle time
