ISO on why they refuse to make ISO standards publicly available
- Daho0n 6y agoISO is untrustworthy (see Office Open XML) and not an open standard. What it actually is is Big Business and on par with software patents.
- ratsmack 6y agoThe thing that rustled my jimmies about standards bodies today is that they took all of the once freely available standards and locked them into their money making machine. Just because they take an old MIL standard, polish it up into a new shiny PDF form, doesn't mean they can lock it away.
