I hope this doesn't make me a curmudgeon, but I don't see any appeal for Python. I've programmed in many languages professionally and it is the sole language that left me with an overwhelmingly negative opinion.
Of course it all comes down to taste. I am in no way "Right" about if one should learn Python or not.
- DrFalkyn 6y agoIt’s really nifty for solving LeetCode/HackerRank/coding interview type questions. Large standard library and code is very clean and readable, I should also add the umpire/scipy/matplotlib stack.
