There seems to be a lot of confusion in the comments over what agility means vs the bureaucratic cargo-culting safe/scrum nonsense that has been perpetuated by enterprises and “certification” providers. The ideas behind agility in software development were all about reducing bureaucracy, focusing on small slices straight to the customer, strong focus on quality and testing practices and continually readjusting and improving. None of it was ever about stand ups, estimation, using Jira etc.
