Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
- slickrick216 6y agoDune is such a great book. For real though. I’ve had anxiety attacks and tried to put myself outside the situation like an observer. Just let the emotion wash over you but don’t react to it. It’ll pass and you’ll feel better and come to terms with the issue that induced the fear.

- rebyn 6y agoI am in a similar situation. Lately I repeat to myself: "do not what you can, do what you must" to fight off my fight/flight response. It works about 40% of those situations that I was in.
