- Flex247A 6y agoJava's not slow, but IntelliJ consumes a lot of RAM. On computers with less than 8GB RAM, the constant swapping causes bad performance.

- Shadonototro 6y agojava and JS are slow, it is how they work, they are JIT'd languages running in a VM, this alone makes the program slow by default are people in this website not supposed to be programmers? or it's too late to expect programs to be fast again?
