As an aside, I'm glad to see that 'Ancestral Puebloan' has superseded 'Anasazi' as the demonym for the Chaco Canyon & Mesa Verde civilizations.
What is the origin and motivation for the old and new names such that one is better?
- hackcasual 6y agoAnasazi means "ancient enemies" in Navajo.
