Apple’s iBooks reader is better than Kindle’s in terms of support for epub3 features, though Amazon has made some good improvements recently (better support for math and tables). It always seemed a low priority for Amazon since the bulk of ebook sales was non-technically demanding fiction. I’d think anti-trust would be less of a concern given Amazon’s dominance in the ebook market, as long as they can make rational pricing decisions.
