- evgen 6y agoThis is so wildly untrue that it is a dangerous idea to spread. Your understanding and personal vigilance will not protect you. You are not as smart as you think you are. Chains of trust and certification are part of the long-term solution and effective delegation of trust and security is what enables everyone else to actually get things done. I would rather people like you never use a computer again than the vast masses be prevented from doing so because we have set the bar required for privacy and security so high that only an expert can attempt it.
