I support EIP 1559, but this article hypes it a bit too much. For example, I hope that this is not the last change to ETH monetary policy. Also, EIP 1559's current parameters are pretty limited, and does not result in Ethereum being "A recreation of a traditional nation-state economic system, but replacing the nation state with code" :-)
