Just saying... an optical illusion as the person wrote above would not be captured by a camera. An optical illusion is created by how our brain processes incoming light, not a phenomena in the real world. Optical illusions happen in our brains, not in the real world. This phenomenon with the ship resulting in temperature inversion and bending of light is an actual physical affect that would be seen by humans and any other device like a camera. Not to make an issue of it, but just that the other poster was correct on that one point.
- compsciphd 6y agois that true? why can't an optical illusion be either. both taking advantage of how our brain processes light and actual physical effects.
