Why do you think they named the product KINDLE ?
In the past I got laughed at so many times when I suggested that this was an intentional reference to Bradbury.
Not so much laughing now.
- dTal 6y agoThey've doubled down on the branding with "Kindle Fire". Officially it's something about "kindling the fires of imagination". But for a product that aims to replace paper books, it's tone-deaf at best, and a sinister double-entendre at worst.
