I’ve been depressed before after a bad relationship situation and flunked out of college as a result. Took a couple years of recovery before I went back and dominated each class. This kid could very well have immense potential and is just suffering. We need stronger social safety nets. For example why is this mother working three jobs? In a civilized online world? Let’s roll out universal basic income, people. Time to level up the human experience. No mind should be so trapped this way. Not the parent(s) and not the kid(s).
