Show HN: jpeg.ink, a ray.so/carbon.now.sh-like for any image

jpeg.ink was made because I noticed that people liked to have nice backgrounds for their images (ex. for changelogs, blog posts, ...), but the widely-known tools (ray.so, carbon.now.sh, ...) were code-focused. jpeg.ink lets you select any image and get a nice background on it.

Nice tool. Is there a way to do this from command line as well? I use this for a simple single color border. convert -border 4 -bordercolor orange ip.png op.png

There isn't right now that I'm aware of; the site just does some heavy work with a canvas to put everything together. It might be cool to base64 an image, or upload it to imgur etc., from the cli and generate a link to the site that can make the image for you tho.
