I had some good success running similar but not as organized sessions for our open-source project[1] in 2018-2019. There was no specific day of the week and calls were between 30-50 min. I think this format is much better and more organized, so I highly recommend that open-source maintainers who would like to learn more about how their projects are used to give it a try.
