As many other have already said it all depends on how it is implemented, and most companies do it wrong. Scrum is hard, not because it is difficult to do it, but because in most companies it requires a change and changes are hard. In my company we implemented scrum in an iterative fashion, changing one practice at a time, till we got to (almost) full scrum, and I like it. You need to take in consideration what scrum makes you do (stand up meeting,...) but also what it is meant to prevent and you shouldn't usually do (interruptions and working on requirements that change daily) It's hard but when done properly it's great
