Can’t believe smart people buy this fear mongering.
- black6 6y agoIt's a self-feeding cycle of being too scared by the reporting to go outside and socialize and observe for oneself that "there's no there there" so just trust the official story and stay afraid.
- orblivion 6y agoWhat would it look like if it were real, and you went outside to socialize? Would you expect to see people randomly keeling over?
- InitialLastName 6y agoThe wonderful thing about the internet is that you don't even have to go outside to talk to people who have been sick, who know people who have died, who are sick at this very moment and know people who are dying right now. It's myopic to pretend you can get a similarly accurate top-down view of the situation by talking to your neighbors.
- macintux 6y agoYou sound like the people who went to a hospital that was overflowing with COVID patients, saw fewer cars in the parking lot than they expected, and concluded it was a hoax. I'll take actual data over anecdata, thanks.
- loopz 6y agoPlease don't call legitimate concern fear. Few people have experience with ME and it won't be anything visible to you.
- s5300 6y agoCould you please extrapolate a bit further to make things clearer to us? I just don't understand how you manage to come to your stated conclusion. "You" can't believe "smart people" buy "fear mongering" Isn't this implicitly stating that you're the one who's glaringly incorrect?
- nickthemagicman 6y agoFor a cool 1 billion dollars!? They're going to trot this thing out for years! How much do you want to bet they make major discoveries and need another few billion to continue the research! Meanwhile in a year it's going to be completely out of the news and there will be infinitesimally small numbers of medical reports of it.
- 542354234235 6y agoThose darn scientists using money to conduct research and better our understanding of the world around us. What a scam!
- nickthemagicman 6y agoWhy not give billions to study sagittarius aura sparkles during a lunar conjuction! We're learning about the world around us! That money belongs in NASA or cancer researchers pockets not some stuff that will be minimal once the news stops reporting about it.
