Yep, I just want Rust to become the Java of the low-level programming. Boring, professional and reliable.
- timw4mail 6y agoNot sure I agree with the 'boring', but Rust has already improved on installing a development environment and bootstrapping projects.
- xiphias2 6y agoDoes it take the same effort to adopt for a Rust developer as learning C++ concepts for a C++ developer for example? I'm not saying that C++2020 would be a bad change (it's not as it is modernizing the language), but the amount of things a C++ developer has to learn is tiring as the language improves.
