Just curious, in what way did pomodoro because unsustainable? I don't use it all the time but mostly when I don't feel the "spark" to work. I've tried many things but I've come to the conclusion that I will never have the same motivation for tasks I'm not interested in. I've found that if I sit around and wait for that motivation to hit, it will never come so it basically boils down to "just doing it". I know how that sounds but I have to just force myself to do it. I have the opposite problem with my own projects... I work on them to a fault so I'm not sure how to resolve this other than to start my own business.
