Ask HN: How could a marketing manager assist the Engineering team in Hiring?

Hi everyone. Long time lurker in HN here. I am at a profitable, but small SaaS company and we're looking to hire. As the Head of Marketing I'm wondering what could I do in order to help our CTO in hiring? Do you have any positive experiences with marketing teams helping you?
