Transferring domain experience still requires previous experience in a different domain that you can transfer from. I'm just pointing out the correlation between more intelligence and more knowledge, or at least the potential of more knowledge, given the environment from which to "mine" it from.
- mewpmewp2 6y agoI just think that your definition was missing the part about problem solving. For instance in a field of medicine you need A LOT of knowledge, but in other fields such as STEM you need more ability of recognising patterns and drawing connections. You can have plenty of things memorised, but it doesn't mean you can capitalise on that information.
