I also have Pipewire running on NixOS. This is what I recommend configuring:
services.pipewire = {
enable = true;
alsa.enable = true;
alsa.support32Bit = true;
jack.enable = true;
pulse.enable = true;
socketActivation = true;
};
That allows me to run pretty much any application that uses ALSA, JACK, or PulseAudio.
