Microsoft launches Power Fx, a new open-source low-code language
- anigbrowl 6y agoThis is nice, shades of the old (and surprisingly capable) Windows Macro Recorder. I wish this sort of thing were available on Linux, any suggestions?
- prepend 6y agoI was really excited about Power Platform (or whatever it’s called) because it seemed like a cool IFTTT across azure. It has a long way to go. Unpredictable errors, no version control, widgets that stop working, etc. I hope open sourcing this language helps increase use and support because now it’s a pain to find out what works. And just getting something working is not a guarantee it will keep working. But I hope they keep working on it, because it’s cool in theory for personal scripting and cloud batch scripts.
