- 1996 6y ago> it seems unnecessary Sorry about that, it's something I often see on HN and it hurts. I could already imagine someone making such a tasteless comment about China - and I don't like to read that and I thought maybe acknowledging the tendency would avoid it. But skip that. My personal opinion do not matter. Just read the actual paper, maybe after reading reference 5. If you enjoy phylogenetic research, and how we figure species are related to each other, it's a wonderful moment: first the prediction, then the discovery.

Soon you’ll look back on her work and realize it’s what caused the start of WW3 and the imminent gruesome and violent death of almost everyone you know. Won’t be long now.
