Every product I order from Amazon from a Chinese brand has an offer for a free 'gift' for leaving a good review.
- duxup 6y agoThat and requests to delete my review in exchange for a refund.
- elliekelly 6y agoThen it's only a matter of time before consumers start gaming the system right back. Write a poor review, await a refund offer, then write the real review.
- FireBeyond 6y agoWell the flip side to this scam too is now I start seeing hints in the reviews. "Edit: I left this review a month ago, and I have not seen the 'special gift' that the seller promised for my help"
- dawnerd 6y agoThen find out Amazon wont accept your real review because it 'doesn't meet their community standards'
- jjoonathan 6y agoYep, can't let the word spread that someone peed in the co-mingling pool. That might cause a panic! Also: can't let the word spread that "prime" shipments get silently substituted for 30-day slow-steamed-in-a-containers-and-then-USPS shipments. That wouldn't reflect fairly on the product! Ugh.
- kevin_thibedeau 6y agoI don't even get that courtesy. Amazon deletes legitimate negative reviews all the time without the seller having to make amends.
- klmadfejno 6y agoJust curious. Like what kinds of products? I hear this a lot, but I've never seen it in the wild.
