Seems unlikely to me. Weather Line’s only differentiator was design – very good design, but something easily Sherlock-able by Apple using the same commercial APIs Weather Line does. There was no secret sauce, and it’s not even an acqui-hire as the developers have said on Twitter they won’t be joining the new company.
