Speed is half of the picture sometimes. I once managed to book a flight on Google Flights and basically completed the purchase in less than a minute. An airline’s website could load instantly and still wouldn’t compare to just having a decent checkout experience. It’s incredible that nobody has 1-click flight bookings a-la-Amazon yet.
