The Aurora 7 Is a Seven Screen Laptop Battlestation
- anigbrowl 6y agoDon't really get the point of reporting on the commercial availability of the thing without including the price, which makes the coverage little better than an advert. I'm a slight fan of this product but I'm not gonna sign an NDA just to find out what it costs.
- brudgers 6y agoSuppose it's $40k or $100k. It will be a bargain for some people. But for most people it will be an angry tweet. Nothing personal, but if the price matters it's probably not for you.
- anigbrowl 6y agoYou misunderstand me. I'm curious about the price, but not willing to spend time or commit to silence to discover what it is.
- brudgers 6y agoYour priorities not aligning with the product’s marketing approach suggests that the product is targeting a segment of the market that you are not in. It’s a reasonable business decision.
- anigbrowl 6y agoI critiqued the reporting, not the marketing choices of the vendor. Perhaps you should read more carefully before replying.
- brudgers 6y agoThe article describes the price as according to the signed contract for a built to order machine. The article didn't tell me how long is a piece of string, either...yet oddly I don't feel your pain.
- anigbrowl 6y agoIn other words the coverage is not really any more informative than an advert, as I originally stated. The availability of this device was covered on HN a while back (when I made a favorable comment about it), so my point is that this 'news' article doesn't provide HN readers with any additional information. It's a month old and basically a rewrite of a press release rather than a hands-on review. I am not sure why you have gone to the bother of writing three comments trying to negate my point of view, but don't plan to reply to any more of them. Have a nice day.
