Grimes sold $6M worth of digital art as NFTs
- cwkoss 6y agoDoes anyone have a steelman argument for why NFTs will have any value in a decade? Are people bundling NTFs with reproduction rights or are there any other interfaces with the real world or legal system? Like the author, I'm similarly perplexed by the level of 'investment' we've seen in the past year into these new financial instruments. I'm a long time bitcoin bull, but still feel baffled.

Instead, I think it's been something like "consensual hallucinations are so awesome, why not make more of them?".
