SEEKING FREELANCER | Local & Remote Rails, Javascript, & application support Small business looking for a freelancer to build an estimated 3-9 months worth of features on an existing Rails app and then provide ongoing support & light feature development in an ongoing capacity under a retainer. We’re looking for someone who’s interested in a long-term retainer relationship after an initial burst of feature development. Skills needed: - Rails 6 - JavaScript-- app is light on JavaScript, so it’s still jQuery in most places - Devops -- manage the deployment pipeline that runs on Github & Heroku, and includes hosted MySQL and Redis instances - Ops -- triage, diagnose, and fix the various issues that arise in the course of running a business on an app. Sometimes an issue is a bug, and sometimes’ the user or client has a misunderstanding. - Product management -- help design and build features to solve the problems the client identifies. Help client understand and navigate the tradeoffs involved. - Client management -- client is not technical and needs clear explanations about technical decisions, bugs, feasibility of features, etc. How to get in touch: - https://boards.greenhouse.io/promptworks/jobs/4392040003 https://boards.greenhouse.io/promptworks/jobs/4392040003
