- mirkules 15y agoHonestly, when we start talking about these huge distances and the vastness of space, the scale of things just seems to lose all meaning. Maybe it's because most of us are engineers and these sorts of numbers only exist in our heads in abstract terms, but I find that I really have to look around me and ground myself in relative terms before I can fully grasp how mind-bogglingly huge that is.
