- occamrazor 6y agoI can’t see any meaningful difference between the suggested “carbon coins” and the already existing carbon credits.
- scotty79 6y agoYou print new money by letting banks lend to companies. Just tweak credit law so that companies that do carbon reducing tech have more/chesper credit available. You want to buy poorly insulated house with new mortgage? Sure but mortgage will cost you more because of the new rules. Just add assesing of carbon cost of investment to credit decission process and make rules about how much investor can borrow and how cheaply.
