If true (and affordable) this is really good news - it's stupid that these expensive mobile computers were still stuck with limited memory. (Disregarding the fact that non-phones had expandable memory; I also don't recall if any model supported more than 256GB sdcards?). Now add removable batteries to these, and the ability to sideload apps (for free) and iPhone 13 would be the perfect phone ...
- CapitalistCartr 6y agoFor me, removable battery is non-negotiable. Maybe a knockoff will arise.

- ksec 6y ago>Still stuck with limited memory..... I reading the sentence you mean Storage rather than Memory?
- NoPicklez 6y agoI think its obvious they mean more storage
- NoPicklez 6y agoThe reality is that for the vast majority of customers they don't want expandable storage, they just want more storage. The average customer doesn't know how to install an SD card, format it and ensure that files are saved to the SD card and nowhere else. I had countless customers ask me with their shiny new Samsung/Sony device that they have ran out of storage because they cant or don't know how to save images to their SD card. Or some versions wouldn't even allow you to save certain system files, applications or games to the SD card that was locked to the device. If you want a device with an SD card because you need expandable memory, then you are not the majority of customers.
